Join HFC Nordic in Copenhagen in November
The Hydrogen & Fuel Cells (HFC) Nordic Conference 2022 – the conference that gathers Nordic and global stakeholders within the field of hydrogen and fuel cell technologies – is open for registrations.
The conference will take place on November 8-9th at Hotel Ottilia in Copenhagen, Denmark.
At this 1½-day conference there will be interesting presentations, inspiring debates, break-out sessions and plenty of opportunities for informal networking. We will explore all links along the hydrogen and fuel cell value chain with specific emphasis on the transport sector.
The Next Wave hydrogen project continues – Funding for Phase 2 granted
The Nordic Hydrogen Partnership has been granted financing by Nordic Innovation – extending its heavy-duty hydrogen transport collaboration project in the Nordic countries.
From the beginning of 2022, Nordic Innovation has granted NHP and partners funding to continue and broaden their activities to push deployment of heavy-duty hydrogen vehicles and infrastructure through the Next Wave project (Next Nordic Green Transport Wave – Large Vehicles), as a part of the Nordic Smart Mobility and Connectivity program.
The Norwegian Hydrogen Forum, Hydrogen Sweden, Hydrogen Denmark, Icelandic New Energy, VTT Tech. Research Finland, and Kunnskapsbyen Centre of Innovation, will be partnering up with Everfuel in this second phase of the project.
Hydrogen Highway Partnership changes its name to Nordic Hydrogen Partnership
Nordic Hydrogen Partnership is the new Nordic hydrogen organisation. The name change is the result of the intensified and extended cooperation between Norsk Hydrogenforum in Norway, Vätgas Sverige in Sweden, Icelandic New Energy in Iceland, Brintbranchen in Denmark and VTT in Finland.
The five coalition partners are strengthening their collaboration and use their expertise to boost the cross-sector implementation of hydrogen and fuel cell technologies in the Nordics, in close cooperation with a number of industry representatives.
The Nordic countries believe in hydrogen
The Nordic countries are frontrunners when it comes to utilizing renewable energy. Many of the Nordic countries have already developed a dedicated hydrogen strategy as part of the green transition. Nordic Hydrogen Partnership has gathered and overview of the several national strategies and where to find them.
